A drink-drive suspect who failed to take a blood test has been banned for a year and ordered to attend a programme for traffic offenders.
Andrew Hill, of St Bride’s Way, Bothwell, was also put under supervision for 12 months and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid community work when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
The 40-year-old admitted driving while unfit through drink or drugs in Glen Avenue, Larkhall, on February 25 and failing to provide a specimen of blood.
The court heard Hill was on bail for another matter at the time of the offences.
