A drink and drug driver was arrested after a stolen car was involved in 'numerous' crashes.
Police said that the 35-year-old motorist was held in Rochdale for theft, drink and drug driving offences.
They were caught after driving a stolen BMW, officers said on the North West Motorway Police Twitter account.
Officers said they had received 'numerous reports' of collisions across Greater Manchester.
A picture posted on Twitter showed visible damage to the front of the BMW.
The tweet posted earlier this afternoon read: "A 35 year old driver was arrested in Rochdale driving a stolen BMW after numerous reports across GMP area of collisions.
"Driver arrested for theft, drink and drug driving offences."
