The prosecution followed the death of 62-year-old Patrick Gerrard Moore who died on March 11 after he was hit by a Fiat Punto on Halton Brook Avenue in Runcorn at about 11.40pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Clout was granted unconditional bail and is due to be sentenced on January 18.

A witness appeal was issued by Cheshire police following the collision last year.
