Drew Lock’s dad says QB might be more nervous for this draft than his own draft

Former Missouri quarterback Drew Lock was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Though he had to wait until Day 2 of the draft last year, Lock might be even more nervous for this year’s draft.

Lock’s father, Andy, shared a photo of his son watching the draft on Twitter on Thursday evening:

Lock, like many fans in Denver, is eager to see who general manager John Elway will add to the team’s roster over the next three days.

Lock would probably love to see Elway add some weapons to the Broncos’ offense. The top three wide receivers in this year’s class are Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb and Henry Ruggs. Any of those three WRs would make sense for Denver if available at No. 15.

In addition to the 15th overall pick, Denver will have nine other picks in the draft, including a second-round selection and three third-round picks.
