Drew Carey has broken his silence after the murder of his ex-fiancee Amie Harwick, posting an emotional statement on social media.
The 61-year-old The Price Is Right host on US television remembered the happy times he shared with Amie in the tribute posted on Twitter.
The comedian posted a photo of the pair of them sitting on a red throne before posing with toy polar bears in photos believed to have been taken over a previous Christmas period.
Carey wrote: "I hope you're lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves as much as she did."

Representatives for Carey also issued a statement on Monday afternoon to TMZ.
This statement read: "Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime.
"She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief.
"I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try to work through this tragic situation."
Drew and Amie were engaged in 2018 but called off the romance just months later.
Amie was allegedly murdered in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the Los Angeles Police Department saying they responded to a call of a "woman screaming" at around 1.16am.

Her roommate had raised the alarm and met police officers when they attended the property in the Hollywood Hills.
They said that Amie was being assaulted inside and the police found her body "gravely injured" on the ground beneath a third floor balcony.
It has been reported that her injuries were consistent with those that had suffered a fall.

Amie was taken to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
A statement from police indicated that there had been a struggle and that an intruder had been in the house before later that morning, Amie's ex Gareth Pursehouse, was arrested by the FBI-LAPD Fugitive Task Force.
She had previously filed a restraining order against him and had expressed a fear of him being around, a couple of weeks previously.
