A new floating sauna offers up a pretty incredible pampering experience; the chance to relax while also taking in views of the Northern Lights.
The new Tromsø Sauna in Norway has opened to the public and, unsurprisingly, it's already proving a hit with locals.
After all, as well as the amazing views of the Aurora to be had, the sauna is located right on the serene Arctic waters in the region. (For the braver souls, there's an outdoor terrace from which you can get into the waters and take a dip!).
Kebony, the company that provided the sustainable wood for the project, has given us a taste of what's on offer by sharing new images of the sauna, showing off the impressive structure and the picturesque views to be had.
Used for the external cladding, decking, roof and ocean terrace, the wood used will also develop a 'silver-grey patina' over time, in the hope that it will create a "weathered aesthetic".
Tromso is one of the best Northern Lights viewing spots in Norway and on dark winter nights, it delivers as the Aurora Borealis makes an appearance.
Of course we know that a trip to Norway isn't on the cards for Brits right now, but this sauna is definitely one we'll bookmark for future trips. (Oh, and if it's the Aurora you're adding to the bucket list, the good news is that there are some UK places where you can see the Northern Lights during the winter months).
The new sauna was a joint project between furniture company Ekte, as well as sauna specialists Pust and Skapa Architects.
Kim Daniel Arthur at Ekte said: "Seeing people enjoying the Northern Lights whilst relaxing in the sauna, or daring themselves to a dip in the arctic sea is such a rewarding feeling. To imagine that we built something that gives people a joyful escape, a little oasis in the middle of the town, is amazing!"
Erik Stange Ankre at Pust, added: "The public has really embraced the sauna and made it a part of their daily lives. People come at all hours of the day: either for a morning swim, a lunch time bath or a night time session as late as 10pm.
"The supreme finish provided by Ekte has really made the sauna feel like a little bit of everyday luxury for the people of Tromsø , and of course, the beautiful Kebony makes it stand out as well."
