Dream team at Mandarin Oriental

From Jan 30 to Feb 2, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is to host a star-studded cooking collaboration by guest chef Koji Shimomura of Tokyo's two-Michelin-starred Édition Koji Shimomura in Roppongi and the hotel's own two-Michelin-starred French chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthier of Le Normandie.

Highly-acclaimed Japanese chef Shimomura is celebrated for his unique blend of Japanese and French flavours. His culinary finesse, alongside that of chef Arnaud, will be showcased through a series of six-course lunches and eight-course dinners at Le Normandie.

Featured dishes are: Fukuoka oyster poached in seawater citrus; variation of Jerusalem artichoke with Hokkaido sea urchin and black garlic; roasted blue lobster with broccoli, Parmesan and black winter truffle; line-caught sea bass with onion, celeriac and winter truffle; roasted lamp saddle with lettuce, radish and anchovies; roasted Challans duck with endive and beetroot; and tatin of turnip, termignon blue cheese and chestnut tree honey.

Prices are 5,297 baht net per person for lunch and 10,829 baht net per person for dinner. Optional wine pairing packages are also available.
