Dream summer job on Isle of Mull looking for live-in worker to help with distillery and campsite

As staycations are set to become extremely popular over the coming months, a job opportunity has arisen for someone to spend their summer in one of Scotland's most aesthetic locations.

This year, a family on the Isle of Mull are searching for an individual to join their team as an "all rounder", helping them with each of their businesses as visitor numbers rise.

Running from May to September/October, the applicant would be lending a hand at the client's distillery, shop and self-catered holiday lets as tourists flock to the beauty spot.

Pitching in as part of the team, the job would include a range of tasks all over the island, meaning you'd rarely get bored.

Searching for someone "outgoing and dynamic", the job has been described as having great variety, with other duties including:

  • Front of House duties
  • Housekeeping
  • Helping at the distillery
  • Serving visitors
  • Light gardening

Expected to work around five days per week, a candidate with their own car is said to be highly beneficial for moving quickly around the island.

Able to explore their surroundings during their spare time, the individual will also be given their own accommodation of a bedroom and ensuite, with a private kitchen to be shared with one other staff member.

With travel rules now eased, if you fancy escaping Edinburgh for somewhere a lot more rural and serene, you can find more information about the role here.
