Dream lettings complete Black Country industrial estate

A Black Country industrial estate is now full following a trio of new lettings.

Granada Trading Estate, in Oldbury, has secured new deals with bed retailer Dreams for two units of 38,811 sq ft and 35,273 respectively on five-year leases.

Dreams also recently renewed its lease on two other units covering 13,266 sq ft for a further five years.

These latest lettings bring its occupancy on the 320,143 sq ft Granada Trading Estate to around 195,000 sq ft where it manufactures more than 200,000 mattresses and 160,000 beds a year.

Separately, bathroom products manufacturer Jetman has signed a lease for 7,392 sq ft.

The landlord was represented by property consultancies Knight Frank and Cosnett Price.

Edward Kennerley, associate in Knight Frank's industrial and logistics division in Birmingham, said: "These lettings demonstrate the strength of the industrial and logistics market in the West Midlands and the desire for units in the strategically important Black Country."
