Dream job pays you £750 to explore the great outdoors as Millets searches for first 'Adventure Advisor'

If you are a fan of camping, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking then an exciting new role has just opened up that might be for you.

Outdoor retail specialists Millets are searching for their first-ever 'Adventure Advisors', with one person being given their chief role and another aimed at kids who want to be a 'Mini-Adventure Advisor'.

Not only will the selected applicant for the chief role be paid £250, but they will also be provided with all the outdoor kit necessary for a year’s worth of adventures, worth over £500.

While the winning applicant for the kids' role will receive a family adventure kit worth £1,000.

A spokesperson for Millets, who posted the ad online, wrote: "Are you a go-getter who loves the great outdoors? How would you like to get paid to do what you love?"

The outdoor specialists say they are looking for someone who "regularly take part in adventurous activities, such as hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and water sports".

The candidate will also need a good understanding of using social media, to share their great activities and experiences with other potential adventurers, inspiring them to get out there.

The team at Millets added: "The application process is very simple, all you need to do is upload a photo of yourself enjoying an adventure outdoors onto Instagram using the hashtag: #mymilletsadvisor."

For those adventurous youngsters wanting to apply for the 'Mini-Adventure Advisor' job, Millets say their parents can fill out the application, which can be found here, explaining where their favourite place for adventure is and why, and upload a photo of them having an adventurous experience in that location.
