An animal charity in Sussex is looking for 'puppy parents' to help look after cute pooches.
The vacancies are being offered on a voluntary basis. The pups are around eight weeks old, and the training will go on until they are 12-16 months old.
A puppy parent "plays a vital role in the early socialisation, education and training of a canine partner, preparing them in the life skills needed to become a well-rounded dog that will go on to transform the life of a person with a disability," according to the charity.
The adorable pup will live with at your home until it is ready to start 'advanced training'.
If you love dogs, and have a secure dog-friendly garden with a suitable area outside for the puppy to toilet, this could be your dream job.
Over on the Canine Partners website, it states: "We are looking for volunteer puppy walkers who can help us train our puppies from roughly eight weeks old until they are 12-16 months old when they will be ready to start their advanced training at one of our training centres."
This is a full-time volunteering role, so you will need to have enough time in your day to dedicate to the puppy and train it.
You must also be available for home visits and attend training at one of the Canine Partners classes.
Former puppy parent Liz Brindley says: " Signing up to be a puppy parent has been one of the best things I have done. It gives me satisfaction to know I am doing my bit and I am also learning excellent training skills.
"Being a puppy parent makes me proud to have done my bit in helping someone living with a disability. I will definitely carry on caring for Canine Partners’ puppies for as long as I am able to.”
