Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick needed a cart to leave the field during the team’s Week 6 AFC North encounter with the Baltimore Ravens.
Late in the first quarter, Kirkpatrick went in to help on a tackle after a big Ravens gain and was rolled up on and stayed down after the play.
Kirkpatrick had been the team’s best cornerback through the first five games of the season. He was pitching in on a tackle while trying to help a struggling defense that had let up 14 points and 100-plus rushing yards before the first quarter ended.
The trainers took Kirkpatrick back for further evaluation and he was quickly deemed questionable to return:
