Thrill-seekers had to be evacuated from a rollercoaster at Drayton Manor theme park after the ride stalled and left them stranded.
Footage shows Shockwave riders being escorted down a flight of stairs next to the track at the park in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
The standing coaster came to a halt with people on board at an estimated height of 100ft, and it was temporarily shut down on Saturday.
The vertigo-inducing rollercoaster can travel at speeds of 53mph up to a height of 120ft.
Drayton Manor confirmed the ride was closed and a "standard evacuation" had taken place.

The ride was expected to resume operating in the afternoon, the theme park said.
One visitor claimed a number of rides weren't functioning at Drayton Manor on Saturday.
The Twitter user claimed: "Shocking day @Draytonmanor.

"Shockwave broke down with first load on, Maelstrom off, Pirate Ship off, Air Race off, not got on a ride yet #awful."
Shockwave is one of just a few standing coasters in Europe, and is one of the most popular attractions at the Midlands theme park.
The theme park's website says: "Shockwave powers you through twisting corkscrews, loops and bends – so brace yourself and wait for the green light to experience the ride of your life!"
