Draymond Green predicts Warriors win next three games for the title

The Golden State Warriors returned home to Oracle Arena on Wednesday night with a 1-1 split after winning Game 2 over the Toronto Raptors on the road. But Game 3 did not feature the Warriors we all have grown accustomed to seeing.

Missing superstar Kevin Durant, star shooting guard Klay Thompson and backup big man Kevon Looney, the Warriors fell at home, 123-109, and now trail in the NBA Finals, 2-1.

Stephen Curry had a terrific game for Golden State, going for a career-playoff-high 47 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. But his efforts to pick up the slack weren’t enough. Draymond Green added 17 points and seven rebounds and Andre Iguodala added 11 points rounding out the only three Warriors to score in double figures.

If you ask Green, he isn’t worried about the Warriors moving forward:

Draymond Green said, “All we have to do” is win Game 4, Game 5 and Game 6, then celebrate in the Bay. “Good times ahead,” he said.

For the Warriors to fulfill Green’s prediction, they’ll need Thompson and Durant to get back on the floor healthy. The Raptors are too deep, led by their own superstar in Kawhi Leonard, and there is only so much one team can handle before breaking down.

Game 4 is Friday at Oracle Arena as the Warriors look to bounce back.
