Draymond Green narrowly misses triple-double, would’ve been 2nd most in playoff history

Draymond Green has been on a tear during this NBA postseason. While not racking up huge point totals, he has been doing what he does best: unleashing chaos on defense for the opposing team, finding his teammates for easy buckets, and snagging rebounds. What has been arguably most impressive is that he has made his way into the top ranks for triple-doubles in postseason history. In game one of the NBA Finals last Thursday, he joined some elite company after becoming just the third player in NBA history to record three straight triple-doubles in the playoffs.

In terms of triple-doubles, he is now tied for the third most ever in a single postseason after tying Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson with five. Wilt Chamberlain holds the most with seven, and Magic Johnson racked up six in 1982. Green almost tied Magic for second most in game two, but just narrowly missed the mark. He ended the game with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
