Draymond Green injures hand, can’t grip a basketball

The week started pretty well for Draymond Green. First, it was announced that Michigan State will retire his number #23 jersey on December 3rd when they host Duke. The next day, he dropped his 23rd career triple-double. Then things went south fast. On Wednesday, star teammate Steph Curry broke his hand last night and will be out three months. Then today, Draymond Green hurt his hand and was seen with his finger wrapped up in the press conference. He told reporters that he couldn’t even grip a basketball right now.

Green went on to say that he is unsure if he will be playing tomorrow and that he is dealing with a “ligament issue.” It doesn’t seem good for Draymond right now but in all honesty, it might not be the worst time for him to sit out for an extended period of time since the Warriors season looks to be going up in smoke.
