Draymond Green hypes up Warriors’ ready to play rookies

The Golden State Warriors have enjoyed breakout performances from their younger players this season. Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga have become integral contributors to Steve Kerr’s team. Moses Moody and Trayce Jackson-Davis have impressed with their opportunities, too.

During a recent episode of the “Sloane Knows” podcast, Warriors veteran Draymond Green revealed his belief that the franchise is in good hands with its new wave of talent. His comments came as he discussed the franchise’s future with their star trio entering the final stages of their careers.

“I think, when I look at the Warriors, the Warriors are in good hands,” Green said. “When you look at guys like BP, Brandin Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis. Those are guys that are coming into the NBA right now, and they’re ready to play right now. That’s how we were. When we came in, we were ready to play. … You could put us in the game and be just fine, and those are the rookies we have right now.”

Green has been vocal about the talented young players on the Warriors roster this season. He has become an integral member of the rotation when playing in the middle of the floor as part of Kerr’s new-look rotation since returning from suspension.

It’s clear Green’s comments are both fair and realistic. The future looks bright in the Bay Area.
