Draymond Green has also been known for his defensive play and even won NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2017. Green thinks so highly of his defensive play that he considers himself the best defender in NBA history.
Green in an interview with NBC Sports Bay Area said “I think I’m the best defender to ever play in the NBA, I stand by that that, I’d put myself against anyone.” The former Spartan has made the NBA All-Defensive First Team three times and NBA All-Defensive Second Team twice in his career.
It’s not crazy to think that Green is one of the best defenders in NBA history, especially when you factor in his height and the position he plays. He is one of the shorter power forwards in the NBA and still holds his ground and can easily steal the ball. Plus, Green is only 31 and still has a few years to help his claim of being the best defender in NBA history.
