Draymond Green calls out media for leaking Dwight Howard information

Draymond Green is unhappy with how easily news is leaked from within the NBA. The Golden State Warriors veteran took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share his disdain when reports regarding Dwight Howard‘s workouts with the Warriors surfaced on social media. The report also noted the veteran big man is heading to LA, where he will work out with Green and Chris Paul.

Green’s post noted how he hopes some things will remain in-house rather than becoming common knowledge among NBA fans in the future. However, Green did congratulate Jason Dumas, the reporter who shared the news, for his ability to break the story.

“One day, one day, everything won’t leak. One day. Good for you btw Jason. But one day, EVERYTHING won’t leak. I have a dream,” Green posted on X.
The Warriors have been searching for some additional depth at the center position throughout the summer. Golden State recently acquired Dario Saric in free agency and drafted Trayce Jackson-Davis. However, Howard’s experience and rim protection could certainly upgrade the Warriors’ rotation.

Howard is yet to sign a contract with the Warriors, meaning the franchise could still look elsewhere for an additional center. However, given the reports of his workout with the team going well, we could see the former NBA champion in the Bay Area this season.

After spending last season overseas in Taiwan, Howard, 37, is closing in on a return to the NBA and will be hoping to add to his lone championship ring with the Warriors.
