Dramatic footage captures the moment a van went up in flames in south Manchester.
The blaze broke out on Thelwall Avenue in Fallowfield at around 1am this morning (Tuesday).
Video shows a van, parked on the driveway of a house, engulfed in flames.
A loud alarm can be heard and people appear to be shouting in the background.
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said a crew was sent to the scene.
Firefighters found the 'small van well alight'.
The Manchester Evening News h as asked Greater Manchester Police and the fire service for further information.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At approximately 1am on Tuesday, 25 May, one fire engine from Moss Side attended a vehicle fire on Thelwall Avenue, in Manchester.
“When fire crews arrived to the scene they found a small van well alight.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the flames and were in attendance for around 40 minutes.”
