Dramatic video has been released showing police attempting to Taser a man during a high speed police chase.
Police pursued 22-year-old Ashley Carl Bennett near Wrexham town centre on May 5.
Bennett was driving a black BMW and used an oncoming lane to race around traffic before narrowly avoiding a smash and spinning around.
North Wales Live reported that as the car came to a stop, the pursuing police officer approached and pointed a Taser at the two occupants.

But as he nears the driver's door, the car starts moving backwards as the two men jump out, with the driver's door trapping the officer as the BMW rolls back.
The whole incident was caught on the dashcam of the police car and was played at Mold Crown Court yesterday.
Prosecutor Philip Clemo said Bennett, of Ruabon Road, Wrexham, got away but handed himself into police three days later.
He was jailed for 64 weeks after he admitted dangerous driving, disqualified driving, assaulting a police officer as an emergency worker, failing to stop, and driving with no insurance.
He was ordered to pay £500 compensation to the officer and banned from driving for four years and 32 weeks.
Judge Timothy Petts said his manner of driving “put many people at risk”.
“It is accepted that you did not deliberately reverse at the officer,” he said.
