A construction worker on a site in Toronto, Canada became entangled in the line after he hooked the load on Tuesday.

The shock of onlookers and other workers can be heard in the clip, with some yelling “Stop” and “How did this happen?” The man's hard hat can also be seen plummeting to the ground in the video.

The company in charge of the project, PCL Constructors Canada Inc., confirmed that the incident took place at their site and that the man was “not seriously injured”.

CBC News reports that police, firefighters and paramedics in the area said they received no calls about the incident.

An investigation into the incident is now underway by Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Department.

This is not the first workplace incident on this site, as a crane collapsed into an adjacent building in 2020, CBC reports.
