Dramatic pictures show a huge wildfire crews are battling to control as it rips through the Scottish countryside
Huge flames can bee seen with smoke billowing above the wooded area in Kingston, Moray, where the inferno took hold.
Emergency services received the call around 3.47pm this afternoon and Scottish Fire and Rescue Services remain at the scene.
An eyewitness described how fire crews at one point had to back off due to high winds spreading the massive flames .
Six appliances were scrambled to the scene.
The blaze spans around 75 meters of woodland area near the coast.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We received the call at 15.47 and six appliances are still in attendance. Specialist vehicles are also in attendance.
“The fire is in the area of Kingston along the coastline, with approximately a 75 meter span.”
