Morningside residents have taken to social media this evening (19 October) to discuss a large-scale police operation at a property on Comiston Road, which involved at least six vehicles: three police cars and three police vans. It's believed at least one man has been taken into custody as a result of the raid.
Writing on a local Facebook group, one woman said:
"Not sure what’s happening in Comiston Road - three police cars and three vans and a guy taken into custody across the road?"
She added: "They have taken one guy away but two vehicles still outside there now."

Another woman confirmed: "I saw all the officers running in when I got home - hope everything’s ok."
