This was the scene after a car flipped on its roof after a collision on a busy main road.
The emergency services were called out to Southport Road near Ormskirk at around 2pm today, following reports of a road accident.
Police told the ECHO that a Vauxhall Corsa collided with a stationary car on Southport Road.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said that they sent an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle to the scene.
