Dramatic pictures show car flipped onto its roof in a petrol station forecourt

Dramatic pictures show a car flipped onto its roof in a petrol station forecourt this evening (January 12).

Pictures show a white Mercedes car on its roof in a BP petrol station on the junction of Church Road and Granby Road in Cheadle Hulme.

Damage has been caused to a boundary wall at the petrol station, with a lamppost also crashed into.

It is unclear how the car ended up on its roof but there are not believed to be any injuries from the incident which happened around 5pm.

Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information.
