Dramatic photos show huge barn blaze near Bristol

Dramatic photographs show the moment that firefighters tackled a huge barn blaze near Bristol. The fire broke out on Saturday, July 9 in the Winford area of North Somerset.

Images of the fire being put out were uploaded onto social media by Chew Magna fire station's official Instagram account. And according to the caption on the photos, the fire involved 3,000 bales of hay, a tractor and a fertilising spinner.

The property could not be saved, the caption said. "Crews used High pressure hose reels to contain the blaze & PPV fans to speed up the fire combustion due to the property being un saveable", it said.
