Crews from Bedminster Fire Station were out and about during the early hours of this morning responding to a deliberate car fire in Whitchurch.
A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue said: "At 03:08, one crew from Bedminster fire station were mobilised to reports of a vehicle fire.
"On arrival, firefighters found a car alight and used one breathing apparatus for safety and one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.
"The cause is thought to be deliberate."

Luckily no one was in the car or severely hurt during the time of the fire.
During a separate incident yesterday evening (January 16), crews from Bedminster Fire Station were also mobilised to reports of a chimney fire in Weston-super-Mare.
A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue said: "At 21:11, crews from Weston and Bedminster fire stations were mobilised to reports of a chimney fire.
"On arrival, firefighters used an aqua pack, bucket of water and chimney gear to extinguish the fire.
"They also used a turntable ladder for observation. The cause is thought to be accidental."
