This is the dramatic moment a road sweeper burst into flames on a residential street in Manchester.
Fire crews were called to Parkside Road, just off Princess Road near Alexandra Park, at lunchtime on Tuesday.
The road was cordoned off while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
Photos taken seconds after the vehicle caught fire show flames and black smoke rising into the air.

They were shared with the Manchester Evening News by the driver of road sweeper, who managed to escape safely.

Firefighters could later be seen on top of the vehicle, and appeared to be pumping water inside the hold.
They were still on scene almost two hours later.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 1.09pm to Parkside Road in Manchester to reports of a road sweeper on fire.
"Fire engines from Whitehill and Manchester Central attended and crews used breathing apparatus, hose reels and other specialist equipment to put out the fire."
The junction of Parkside Road and Princess Road is also taped off, and traffic is reduced to one lane and is reportedly backed up towards the Heineken brewery.
