Video footage shows the dramatic moment a fire ripped through a children's playground at a park in Salford following a suspected arson attack.
The blaze broke out at the park on Lords Street in Cadishead just before 6pm last night (Tuesday). The clip showed flames tearing through the playground area as smoke billowed from the fire.
Fire crews and police officers were called to the scene. Officers are now investigating the incident as a suspected arson attack.

Police said they were 'saddened by the behaviour witnessed on the park'. Any witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident, is being urged to come forward.
A post on the GMP Cadishead Facebook page this morning said: "Good morning. We are saddened at the behaviour that was witnessed on Lords Street Park last night and are following up on lines of enquiry.
"Should you have witnessed anything or have information in relation to the Arson, please contact 101 quoting log 2686/04042023. Officers will be at the Tiger moth public house tomorrow between 10am-11am if you would like to have a chat."
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Shortly before 6pm this evening (Tuesday 4 April), one fire engine from Irlam fire station was called to attend Lords Street, Cadishead, in response to reports of a small fire involving rubber park flooring.
"The crew arrived quickly and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Firefighters made the area safe before departing after around 10 minutes at the scene."
