Dramatic Line of Duty spoiler pictures tease tense season final 5 and 'H' reveal

The cries of 'Hastings isn't bent!' echoed throughout Twitter on Sunday evening as the much-loved head of AC-12 was arrested and charged for conspiracy to murder.

As viewers head into Line of Duty's season five final at the weekend, there are still a number of questions hanging in the air. Was Hastings framed? What is his connection to Corbett? What did he talk to Lee Banks about? Who really is Lisa McQueen?

But, indisputably, the biggest question is, 'Who is 'H'?'

New teaser photos from the final episode have teased tense scenes as Hastings speaks to new character DCS Patricia Carmichael.

Superintendent Ted Hastings looks a world away from his usually professional demeanor in a prison jumper.

But Ted is also out of his cell and back at AC-12, appearing to help with the investigation.

Back in the investigation room, they are surrounded by maps on the walls as a concerned Ted stands next to the DCS and sergeant Tina Tranter.

Missing, however, is federation rep Joel Rossport, suggesting that Ted isn't the one being questioned.

Another spoiler picture shows DS Kate Fleming on the radio as a brunette woman sits opposite them. Could it be Gill Biggelow?

Throughout series five, the finger has pointed towards the head of AC-12 as 'H', but fans are convinced that Hastings is being framed , which many believing smug lover Gill is to blame.

While another commented: "I do not trust Gill..she is up to her neck in it. I mean which bent copper worth his salt running an OCG would use his own initals?! #H #LineOfDuty #FreeTed."

A third remarked: "Hastings is not H! Actually felt quite sad for him in that episode my moneys on it being a woman....Gill!! Cannot wait for next week!! #LineOfDuty #bbcone."
