Dramatic images provided show a man wielding a blade during an Easter Sunday disturbance in an Ayrshire street.
The black-clad knifeman can be seen standing on a top floor window ledge at a property in Irvine.
Another image captures the man brandishing a large blade during the incident which saw cops close down an entire street.
Police Scotland said a 31-year-old man was arrested after being traced to a property on Herbertson Crescent in Irvine just before 11am.
We told earlier of the dramatic moment police in riot gear took up position outside a house, sealing off the street with an army of 16 emergency vehicles.

Police Scotland said a man is now expected to appear in court on Monday in connection with the incident.
A statement said: "We received a report of a man in possession of a bladed weapon on Herbertson Crescent, Irvine, around 10.50am on Sunday.
"Officers attended and traced the man to an address on Herbertson Crescent.
"Local and specialist resources dealt with a disturbance within the property. Nobody was seriously injured.
