Dramatic footage has captured a Mercedes was engulfed in flames on the M60.
Fire crews were called to the incident - between junctions 24 and 25 of the motorway near Stockport - just after 7.05am this morning (Sunday).
The fire, involving what appeared to be a white Mercedes, was 'well alight' on the hard shoulder when they arrived, GMFRS said.

Video footage sent to the Manchester Evening News shows a fire engine and a Highways patrol vehicle at the side of the motorway.
The fire appears to have started in the front bonnet of the Mercedes, before spreading to the front seats.

Two people can be seen standing on the hard shoulder.
It is not clear if anyone was hurt.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "Just after 7.05am this morning (Sunday 22 August) we were alerted to a vehicle fire on the M60 clockwise between junctions 24 and 25, near Stockport.
"The fire involved a car well alight on the hard shoulder.
"Three fire engines from Ashton, Hyde and Stockport quickly attended, and firefighters used a breathing apparatus and hose reel to extinguish the fire before clearing oil from the road to make the area safe.
"Firefighters were at the scene for around 45 minutes."
