A dramatic clip has captured the moment a motor became engulfed in a fireball in Fife.
Fire crews raced to the scene on Woodmill Road, in Dunfermline, at around 2pm today, August 9.
One fire engine was called in after the alarm was raised to bring the blaze under control.
Flames can be seen shooting out the car in the shock 12-second video, shared by Fife jammer locations, while smoke fills the air.
The vehicle, which appeared to be parked in a car park, had one door open but the driver was nowhere in sight.
The source of the fire is not yet clear.
It's understood the fire has now been extinguished and no one was injured.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One fire appliance was called to Woodmill Road, Dunfermline, at 1:50pm to reports of a car alight.
"The fire has been extinguished and there were no reported casualties."
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
