This is the moment armed cops swarmed an Edinburgh street and surrounded a plush vehicle.
A heavy police presence was spotted on city's London Road on Friday evening as armed officers pursued a blue BMW.
The dramatic footage shows two police vehicles block the car from moving as cops walk around the motor with their firearms up.
One man, wearing a tracksuit, then gets out of the car and walks towards officers before being handcuffed.
Offices continue to point their firearms towards the car after the male suspect is put into the back of a police vehicle.
The person filming the incident can be heard asking "what's going on" as he later comments that it is "GTA style" and "madness"
Numerous videos of the incident were also posted on social media.
Police confirmed the incident was a controlled stop in relation to a firearms police investigation after intercepting the vehicle off London Road.
No one was arrested in connection and enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.30pm on Friday, 3 September , officers carried out a controlled stop of a vehicle in London Road, Edinburgh.
"This activity was in relation to an ongoing firearms police investigation.
"No-one has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
"There was no threat to the wider community.”
