A lorry became engulfed in a fireball on the M8 today.
Emergency services raced to the busy motorway at around 12:30pm on Thursday, October 7, following reports of a lorry blaze.
Cops locked down part of the M8 while fire crews battled the inferno, which was in an eastbound lane.
One person was attended to by paramedics. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

A passing motorist captured dramatic footage of the blaze as the flames took hold of the lorry's cab.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called to assist the fire service following a report of a lorry fire on the M8 eastbound, near J23, around 12.40pm on Thursday, 7 October.
"Two lanes were closed and have now reopened."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.39pm on Thursday, October 7 to reports of a lorry on fire at the M8 eastbound between junctions 22 and 21.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.
“One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
