Dramatic footage has captured the moment a car slams into a parked vehicle before making a quick getaway in Hartcliffe.
The collision took place shortly before 8pm on Sunday evening (May 12) in Fulford Road.
The footage shows the car's driver involved in a commotion in the road before the vehicle suddenly reverses. The car then smashes into another parked car, knocking its door off, before hastily driving away.
The vehicle's owner Jo Florance said she was abroad when she first heard about the incident.
"I left the car outside my friend's house as I was flying from Bristol Airport ," the 45-year-old said.
"My friend then called me while I was abroad and said my car had been smashed into."
She added: "The car has a lot of sentimental value to my husband and will cost £3910 according to the insurance company."

Despite the extensive damage caused to the car, Mrs Florance said she was more concerned for the driver involved.
She said: "My concern is whether that man was attacked - cars can be replaced."
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We were called shortly before 8pm on Sunday (May 12) after a car collided with another car parked on Fulford Road.
"The vehicle then made off from the scene."
The police spokesman added that the force had not received any reports of a disturbance or assault in the road at that time.
