This is the dramatic moment shocked motorists drove past a plush motor completely engulfed in flames in Fife, with police arresting a man in connection with the incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 4.55am on Monday July 26 after a large 4x4, reported to be a Range Rover, went up in flames on the A92 near Cowdenbeath.
Footage posted on Facebook by the Fife Jammers shows the vehicle engulfed by the blaze as other motorists try to avoid it
Pictures left in the comments of the post later on in the morning show the charred remains of the vehicle, with the front completely melted away.
Police confirmed that the fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
There were no injuries from the incident.
Police confirmed a man has since been arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a vehicle on fire on the A92 near Cowdenbeath around 4.55am on Monday, 26 July.
“Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished. There were no reports of injuries. A man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 4.45am on Monday, July 26 to reports of a car on fire on the A92 northbound at the Crossgates and Cowdenbeath junction, Fife.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe and there were no reported casualties.”
