A 15 year-old girl's dramatic escape from a gang wielding baseball bats has been caught on camera in a 50-second video released by police.
The clip appears to show the school girl fleeing from the group and jumping jumping over a garden wall where she cowers for safety while the hooded men search for her.
She can be seen finally sneaking away once the coast is clear after the group have given up their search on Aaron Manby Court in Tipton, West Midlands.
However, the unidentified victim was later attacked at around 9.30pm on 12 February and taken to hospital with serious injuries
The violent gang is reported to be aged in their 20s and were seen driving a silver VW Golf in the Tipton area.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Work has been on-going to trace the offenders who are reportedly aged in their 20s.
“Officers believe it is likely they live in the Tipton area and were driving a silver colour VW Golf on the day of the attack.
“At the time a lot of local people tweeted and shared information about the attack on social media.
“We are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed what happened to get in touch with police on 101.
