Drake wears Bronny James jersey for ‘Money in the Grave’ music video

Multi-platinum recording artist, Drake, channeled his inner-LeBron James Jr. for his latest music video. While performing his ‘Money in the Grave’ record which features Rick Ross, the Toronto MC can be seen wearing a Bronny James AAU jersey throughout the video. Drake offered a preview of the music video on Instagram earlier today. Upon seeing the rapper representing for his son, LeBron James chimed in with the comment, “So Tough.”

Bronny James made headlines this summer while competing with his Strive For Greatness AAU squad. Later this year, he’ll make his high school debut for Sierra Canyon in California. It seems reasonable to expect that this is not the last time Drake will be wearing a Bronny jersey.

Thankfully for the James Gang, the Drake curse appears to be broken after the Toronto Raptors secured the NBA championship. So at least Bronny won’t have to worry about being impacted by that like other teams and athletes famously have in the past. Drake’s ‘Money in the Grave’ song that celebrates Toronto’s championship was originally released in June as part of Drake’s Best in the World two-pack. The record helped the rapper move past The Beatles by landing his 35th single in the Hot 100’s top 10.
