Drake has seemingly been everywhere these NBA Finals … well, except for Oracle Arena. And that was the case yet again on Thursday.
While the Raptors superfan and “global ambassador” has been incredibly involved from his courtside seat at Scotiabank Bank, he’s opted to stay at home for the Raptors’ road games. With the chance to witness the Raptors’ first NBA title in person, Drake instead chose to watch alongside the Raptors faithful in Toronto.
During the first quarter of Game 6, Drake was spotted watching the action from the stage at Jurassic Park — the massive outdoor watch party near the arena.
He had a pretty sweet setup too with a sofa and private viewing area.
You can’t really fault Drake for staying in Toronto. Sure, it would be awesome for him to potentially see a Raptors title in person, but his presence in a road team’s arena may be too much of a hassle to deal with.
If the Warriors force a Game 7, you can count on Drake being there in person on Sunday.
