Drake sends Tyson Fury special video message ahead of Deontay Wilder fight

Tyson Fury has received a message of support from a surprising source ahead of his eagerly-anticipated trilogy showdown with Deontay Wilder.

The Gypsy King takes on his bitter American heavyweight rival for a third time in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning, putting his WBC belt on the line.

Wilder is desperate for revenge having been outclassed by Fury in their rematch, with the Brit winning via a technical knockout in the seventh round after a draw first time out.

It was the first defeat of Wilder's professional career, and the American will be eager to put that straight against Fury in Las Vegas.

But while Wilder will have the majority of the support in Vegas amid Covid travel restrictions, fans have been sending their well wishes to Fury too.

And surprisingly, rap superstar Drake is among those big names to have sent their support to the Brit via a special video message ahead of the trilogy fight.

On Saturday morning, Fury re-posted Drake's video message on Twitter, alongside the caption: "Trust me @Drake, once I’m done with him he’ll be running through Alabama with his woes! God Bless You G."

In Drake's video message, the rapper labelled Fury as the "scariest man in boxing."

Drake said in the social media message: "This is a video for the most psycho man that I know. He's mad in his head, but he has the purest heart, nicest guy. The Gypsy King, the scariest man in boxing.

"I'm wishing you the best of luck this weekend, brother. I want you to just go out there and continue the legacy.

"Do what you do. We all love you because you're relentlessly yourself.

"So go out there and get the work done and afterwards f*****g sing your heart out or say whatever the f**k you want to say.

"I'mma tell you, brother, we're all so proud of you. We love you. I appreciate you always staying in contact with me.

"I appreciate the encouragement, the inspiration. Yeah, man, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result this weekend.

"Wishing you the best, always. I'll see you on the other side. F**k 'em."

Fury heads into the Las Vegas showdown as favourite following his incredible performance last time out in February 2020.

The heavyweight rivals were originally scheduled to fight it out for a third time on July 24 but it was pushed back due to Fury testing positive for Covid.
