Drake’s truly bizarre house tour has left the Internet with some serious questions

Few things are as unifying as sharing a mutual distaste for something. Whether it’s having to pay extra for guac or Tiger King’s Carole Baskin, with the Internet’s help, that dislike can lead to some A+ content.

Drake gave us just that and more when he teamed up with Architectural Digest for a tour of his Toronto mansion earlier this week. Measuring 50,000 square feet, and packed with totally normal amenities like an NBA regulation-size basketball court and an indoor pool made of black granite, the rapper’s home would have been a slap to the face if it had been a regular day.

But throw in week four (or possibly more, what even is time now?) of quarantine, and knocking Drake’s questionable decor choices became Twitter’s most fun activity of the day - hey, you have to cope somehow.

Given the massive size of Drake’s home, it gave the people a lot of material to work with. And for that, we couldn’t be more grateful.

The comparisons came rolling in, with many Twitter users agreeing that it looked more like an exclusive nightclub than an actual home you would reside in.

Others thought it more closely resembled a luxury mall (which I have to agree with).

In fact, if you needed further convincing, one publication even made their own edit to complete the mall setup.

Still, others thought it was more reminiscent of your favorite childhood computer game.

And more than a few Twitter users felt that Drake's mansion was more hotel than house.

Which also led to a side discussion about how strange celebrity houses tend to be in general.

One user came up with a truly inspired way to make Drake's home more bearable.

And another asked a very valid question.

Obviously, not everyone hated it. But after being cooped up in your own home for a month, anywhere else starts to look good, to be fair.

We're all allowed one quarantine pass - even, perhaps, Drake.
