Drake’s emotional singing of ‘O Canada’ at Game 5 immediately became a meme

Ahead of Monday’s Game 5 of the NBA Finals, the fans at Scotiabank Arena took lead in the singing of “O Canada” as the Raptors looked to win the first title in franchise history.

The big names were in the building, and, yes, that included Drake who opted to not troll the Warriors with his Game 5 attire.

That didn’t mean that Drake wouldn’t become a meme, though.

As fans joined along in the singing of the Canadian anthem, the ABC broadcast focused in on the rapper and Raptors superfan. His passion for “O Canada” radiated through the screen in the most Drake of ways.
