Drake has spent much of the NBA playoffs — including in the Finals — getting in the ear of the Golden State Warriors and showing his passion for the Toronto Raptors.
But all of that disappeared when Kevin Durant went down with what appears to be a devastating Achilles injury.
As Durant was leaving the court, the rapper — who has a Durant tattoo on his arm — patted him on the shoulder in a classy gesture.
But Drake didn’t stop there. He took to Instagram early Tuesday morning to wish the best to Durant and he said how tough it was to watch the rest of Game 5:
Was tough for any of us to even enjoy that game tonight after seeing this transpire. Praying for our brother. That’s my only concern tonight is your well being. “The game needs me” is an understatement when it comes to 35. Please wish the best for this true warrior.
