Drake is wearing a wristband to cover his Warriors tattoos at Game 1 of the NBA Finals

Few Raptors fans were more excited about the NBA Finals than Drake. The Toronto native has been the team’s “Global Ambassador” for years and almost certainly rattled the Bucks during the Eastern Conference Finals with his antics.

But the thing you have to remember about Drake is that he is a notorious fair-weather fan. He is friends with players on the Golden State Warriors. He’s a fan of the Golden State Warriors. And … oh yeah … he has tattoos dedicated to the Golden State Warriors.

So, when Drake showed up to Thursday’s Game 1 of the NBA Finals in a Dell Curry Raptors jersey, it was difficult to overlook the wristband that Drake had on his left bicep. There was a very specific reason for that.

HE WAS COVERING UP HIS WARRIORS TATTOOS.

See: Drake has tattoos dedicated to both Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. There’s a No. 30 and a No. 35 on his arm.

So, no, Drake isn’t concerned about his perspiration at Game 1 — he just didn’t want to root for the Raptors with visible Warriors tattoos.

That’s understandable.
