Drake had heated postgame words for Draymond Green and the Warriors

So, about that league memo to the Raptors about Drake’s courtside behavior …

Drake is not going to change nor should he.

The Toronto Raptors opened the 2019 NBA Finals with a 118-109 win over the defending-champion Warriors on Thursday. Drake was all the talk heading into the game, and that remained the same after the final whistle sounded.

What started with a playful in-game exchange with Steph Curry ended in a more heated run-in with Draymond Green. Broadcast cameras focused in as Drake caught up with Green and exchanged words. Steph Curry could be seen sarcastically looking on before directing Green away from the rapper.

At the end of the exchange, Drake appeared to shout at the Warriors forward, still talking as Green made his way to the tunnel.

Drake, of course, is friends with both Curry and Green. He has Warriors tattoos, but in the heat of the Raptors’ first-ever win in an NBA Finals game, there was no time for friendship.
