If you’ve ever wondered whether rapper and Toronto Raptors ambassador Drake is aware of his own sports curse — in which he wears the apparel of or roots on a team that then loses — it appears we have an answer.
At first, I was confused to see a video from a Drake Instagram story, in which he and his pals celebrated Kawhi Leonard’s unreal game-winning shot that clinched the Raps’ Eastern Conference Finals berth. It looked like Drake was wearing Philadelphia 76ers shorts, which didn’t make sense since the Toronto native is a Raptors die-hard.
But then it hit me and everyone else: Drake deviously used his own curse!! (WARNING: NSFW language ahead):
As you can see, he also had the last laugh in his rivalry with Joel Embiid.
