Drake blasted by knife victim's mother for inviting thug on stage

Music star Drake was condemned for inviting on stage a Brit rapper jailed for carrying a knife.

The Canadian megastar, 32, introduced 20,000 fans to thug J Hus, 23, who has just served four months.

Today a mum whose son died in London’s blade epidemic blasted the stunt at the O2 on Friday night.

Michelle McPhillips, 56, said J Hus should have admitted his mistake on stage. “I’m angry and upset,” she said. “Someone who can influence so many young people should publicly say right from wrong.”

Drake brought J Hus onstage at London’s O2 on Friday and told him: “I’ve been waiting for this all week. I wanna give you this stage so you can do exactly what you’ve been waiting to do.”

Brit J Hus, 23, told the crowd: “I’ve missed you so much” - before performing hit ‘Did You See’ on a stage emblazoned with ‘welcome home’.

J Hus apologised in court for having a blade in Stratford, East London, last year – the fourth time he had been caught with a knife.

J Hus - real name Momodou Jallow - was caught with a 10-cm blade near Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, East London, last year.

When police asked if he had anything on him, the rapper - who won Best Song at the MOBO awards in 2017 - said he had a knife in his pocket.

Michelle’s only son Jonathan, 27, a dad of two, was knifed by a stranger two years ago.
