Canadian singer Drake recently announced his first poetry book on social media, thus pleasantly surprising his fans and followers.
Titled 'Titles Ruin Everything, A Stream of Consciousness', the 168-pages poetry book is Drake's first. Aubrey Graham aka Drake has co-authored it with Kenza Samir.
“I don’t know if I have ever wanted people to buy or support something more in my life,” he said in the social media post. Published by Phaidon, the book is available for purchase on Drake's official website.
Keith Fox, CEO- Phaidon, called the book “a singular project which takes readers on an intimate, one-of-a-kind journey into the mind of one of today’s leading voices," in a press release. “…The provocative musings translate Graham’s wit and talent for wordplay into potent stanzas," he added.
According to Entertainment Weekly, a newspaper ad about 'Titles Ruin Everything' featured a QR code which upon scanning redirected people to a website with read the message: "I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake. Girl, don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.”
The paperback format of 'Titles Ruin Everything, A Stream of Consciousness' will start shipping from July 14, 2023.
